Welcome to Hong Kong

We left early morning on September 3rd  and after a 23 hour flight from Salt Lake we finally arrived to Hong Kong on September 4th close to midnight.  A picture getting our luggage and heading out of the airport.  We stayed in Hong Kong for a few days before we ventured into China.

We made a visit to the Hong Kong Temple for a Cantonese Session.  It was beautiful and verydifferent from the other buildings around it.

There are lots of streets that all look the same.  This is a picture of one of them and down some of them they have little markets that have stands with any item that you can imagine that are cheap.  We even tried some fried octopus off the street.  There are always people at all times of the day.
We went out on the harbor one night to view the city.  It was very difficult to get a picture without a blur.  I am an amateur at taking pictures and only have taken pictures by request.

We slept a lot trying to get used to the time difference, but did manage to get out to explore.
This is the park that I ended up puking up all of the unusual tasting food that I ate that morning and still managed to enjoy it.
Landon and me in front of the waterfall and then the waterfall itself

Later that day we went on a tram to “The Peak”.  It was very steep, but had gorgeous views.

One day we were so tired that we went to bed at 2 pm and did not wake up till 5 in the morning because of the time difference.  We will have to visit Hong Kong again to see some of the other things there.
