One day we took a bus out to go on a great hike. Man was it hot and was I out of shape. Most paths are paved on these hikes and you have girls hiking up in their high heels and dresses on. I looked out of place even more than I already do.
The trail. Landon took a picture of it because they didn’t have any guides/maps/ brochures so this was the next best thing.
Our goal was to hike to the building on top of the mountain. However, there was lots of construction going on up in the mountains and the security guard was stopping everybody part way up. But I guess since we were white the security guard at the stopping point let us continue.

Half way up we reached a temple with a few shops and bathrooms. As you walk up you see this. It says “nan wu a mi tuo fo” , In the comments guess what movie this is from? The other picture is just the top of that sign.
Continuing on the trail, the next part we decided that we wanted to take a short cut. Here it is… and people still went up it in high heels.

It was a hot and successful hike, my legs were sore the next day!

i think its from the movie with jackie chan and owen willson sheng hi nuen if that is how you spell it? so next time you will do it in your heels right so you fit in better!?
I am so glad that you have a blog! It looks like you are having quite the adventure! we miss you and keep up the posts! I wish we could come and visit!
